Hong Kong's first three dimensional porn movie, "3-D Sex And Zen," collected 17 million Hongkong dollars ($2.2 million) as of Tuesday (April 19) since it opened last week.
Not only did it suck in ( $360,000) on its premiere, the soft-porn flick has also earned $20,000 more than James Cameron's 2009 3-D sci-fi epic "Avatar"
Capitalizing on a huge desire for 3-D kinky movies, Sex And Zen's producer, Siu said, “We met people’s expectations. People have always thought that you need 3-D technology for this kind of content. So people were very curious"
The R-18 film is based on a classical Chinese erotic literature, but turned it became "polluted" with graphic sex scenes. Well, it's a porn movie - what do you expect?
