Lady Gaga's 'Judas' Video Leans Towards Christianity

Lady Gaga will play Mary Magdalene in her upcoming "biblical" video for Judas that "will shock the world," Laurieanne Gibson tells MTV News.

Gibson, Gaga's creative director, adds, "I think they'll be very shocked to find out how huge and really groundbreaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons."

Furthermore, Laurieann dismisses claims that Mother Monster's Judas will be another "blasphemy" like what critics have pointed out about Alejandro. She says the video will be the ultimate representation of  her spiritual bond with Lady Gaga.

The "Born This Way" hit-maker has decided to direct the music video with Gibson after the original director's schedule got messed up.

In a new episode of Gagavision that was released the other day, Lady Gaga has just confirmed that she believes in her God.

Now with regard to the story, I think that the plot will dwell in Magdalene and Judas' unwritten love affair during Jesus' time. Sounds interesting
Mary Magdalene was said to be present in Jesus' crucifixion (Luke 8:1-3) and has witnessed His resurrection ( John 20:1-18). [I am not gonna be surprised if Judas'character( played by Norman Reedus) will also hang himself because of guilt]

So, would they have a modern take out of  it or would they patronize the past by incorporating the famous Roman-Era-feel into the music video? We'll see.

Don't you think that the video's concept is a little predictable?
