According to the rights advocates who brought the case today before the Quezon City's Fiscal's office, Revillame et.al violated several laws such as;

  • Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act;
  • RA 9775 or the Act Defining the Crime of Child Pornography
  • RA 9231 or An Act Eliminating the Worst Forms of Child Labor.

The complainants who call themselves, Stop Child Rights Exploitation in Media were representatives from End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes (ECPAT).

TV 5 has declined to comment on the issue since they haven't yet received a copy of the complaint.
Jay Motelibano of the Kapatid Network has earlier stressed that no child abused happened in the show.

Willing Willie's return on air after Revillame voluntarily went on leave last April 11 is still unclear. Montelibano said they are still waiting for the outcome of their continuous talks with the MTRCB.
