There were mixed reviews over the bold outfit she wore for her first day of filming X Factor USA.

The singer was snapped leaving Cannes yesterday where she had been for a few days representing L'Oreal.

She wore cobalt blue trousers as she arrived at Nice airport a week after she showed off a pair of royal purple flared trousers at the X Factor in Los Angeles.

She teamed the blue capris with a florescent pink top and Louboutin heels, the toes and bottoms of which matched her trousers.

Cheryl, 27, was flying to New York where she will either spend a few days, or catch a connection to Los Angeles.

She said: 'I absolutely love colours at the minute.

'It makes everything feel bright and alive so I am going to go colour crazy while I can.'
