Manny Pacquiao Gets a Star in Las Vegas Walk of Fame; Manny Pacquiao Launches Own Perfume "MP8 - Scent of a Champion"

He is an eight-division world boxing champion.

He is Sarangani Province' beloved Congressman.

He is a singer.

He is a movie star.

He is an international products endorser and commercial model.

He has a merchandise store beneath the Wild Card gym in Hollywood, Los Angeles and in Manila.

He just launched his own line of perfumes called MP7 and MP8 "Scent of a Champion" last April 30 at the Fred Segal store in Los Angeles, California.

And soon enough, Manny Pacquiao will receive his own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame.

In a news article released by Fil-Am community newspaper Asian Journal on April 28, Pacman is reportedly set to receive his own star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame - a first for Filipino athlete.

"Pacquiao has been nominated to receive the star, and has already been voted on and approved by the majority,” confirms by Las Vegas Walk of Stars chief operating officer Ed Swindle.

Swindle also said that the organization is “already completing paperwork” for Pacquiao’s star, and will “announce the schedule of the formal dedication soon.”

The Las Vegas Walk of Stars “honors people of prominence in a variety of fields including entertainment, sports, literary, humanitarian, civic, military and pioneers.”

Honorees “must have, by their presence in the area, contributed to the charm, worldwide prominence and name recognition of Las Vegas, Clark County.”

Located on the Las Vegas Strip, which stretches from Sahara Avenue to Russell Avenue, the famed walk is composed of stars made of polished granite 36” x 36” each, weighing 180 pounds, inlaid with the recipient’s name and specialty.

Among the most prominent names already dedicated since 2004 are: singer/entertainer Wayne Newton (2004), singer/musician Little Richard (2005) entertainer Liberace (2005); entertainers Siegfried & Roy (2006); singers Bobby Darin (2007), singer/actor Sammy Davis, Jr. (2007); singer Elvis Presley (2008); singers Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin (2010) and husband and wife singers/musicians Emilio and Gloria Estefan (2010).

Indeed, there is really no stopping the "Pambansang Kamao" from continuously making it big in all aspect of like - worldwide!
