Miley Cyrus "Gypsy Heart" Manila Concert on June 17


After two successful Best of Both Worlds and Wonder World tours, international pop star and Golden Globe nominee Miley Cyrus has been wowing thousands in her latest musical adventure titled Gypsy Heart Tour.

Since April 29, she has been busy performing for her fans in many countries in South and North America. Her successful concerts in Escuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico have just proven the popularity and staying power of the 18-year-old singer-songwriter. At least 200,000 fans' dreams came true when they finally witnessed Miley Cyrus perform on stage.

The teen actress-pop singer gained fame for the hit TV series-turned-movie Hannah Montana. Her single "Party in the U.S.A." peaked at No. 2 in the Billboard Hot 100 of the United States.

The teen star-artist herself has been tweeting about how moved she has been during the tour and how her fans have been amazing. Some of her messages read: "Honestly I can't believe my first show is already over. Amazinnggg. This crowd was beyond incredible. I cried my eyes out. so touched. ILY," "Wow Argentina :) I can't thank you enough for tonight. You all truly radiate. Looovvveee you," and "From bottom of my heart, THANK YOU BRAZIL. Shows like these are what inspire me to get going when the going gets tough."

Earlier this month, British singer Paul McCartney compared the effect of Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber to the new generation of teenage fans. "I think when you have new sensations like Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, adolescents who identify with it, the same way that children identified with The Beatles," said the English artist.

Miley Cyrus is set to make history as she will be holding a concert party in the Philippines, her only stop in Asia. Her concert in Manila will take place on June 17, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia Open Concert Grounds.
