Richard Gutierrez Allegedly Curses and Rants At MMDA Enforcers For An Over-speeding Charge

Manila, Philippines.
Richard Gutierrez reportedly ranted, cursed and berated MMDA traffic officials  at around 8:10 this morning when they stopped the actor's car along Commonwealth Avenue for over speeding.

An article published in Inquirer.net today said that Richard supposedly cursed and pointed fingers at some MMDA Officials. Quoting Max Dilla, the MMDA Supervisor who has allegedly witnessed the incident, said that "Captain Barbell was hot-headed today” after his men were told unkind words by Gutierrez.

Annabel Rama, Gutierrez' mother and manager, vehemently denied that her son spoke foul. She however admitted that Richard got irked by one of the enforcer's remarks that said, "bigyan na ng ticket ‘yan, para masabi ko na sa media."

Rama further explained that her son found this statement unfair because he wasn't the one driving the car, "We have no problem with the driver getting a speeding ticket. We just want traffic enforcers to treat us fairly"

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the MMDA officials recounted,  "Medyo nagkaroon ng interception. Mayroon po kaming video. Nag-speed limit po siya 79 kph. Ang limit po ay 60."

They however cleared that Richard was not the one driving the brand new, plate-less Audi when the incident happened.  "Na-ticket-an lang po siya. Hindi po siya ang nagda-drive ng Audi white. Wala pang plaka, brand new po."

Richard was reportedly in a hurry for a taping in Fairview for his TV Series, Captain Barbel before the "apprehension" happened.

In article published in PEP, Richard Gutierrez did not hide his dismay over media people who covered the incident by saying, "Before they put that as a headline, siguro kunin muna nila yung side ko."
