"Wil Time Bigtime" Will Air Live in Cebu City on May 28


TV5 takes pride in introducing the network's 'Sugod mga Kapatid' campaign first to Cebuanos as the network celebrates its growing affinity with Filipino viewers. The caravan kicks off in the Queen City of the South to fortify its increasing base in the region with its week-long activities and performances featuring several Kapatid programs beginning today, May 22, culminating with the telecast of Willie Revillame's newest show, Wil Time Bigtime, live on Saturday, May 28.

This Sunday, May 22, a motorcade featuring the cast of youth variety show Fantastik (with Cebu's very own, Morisette Amon, Danita Paner and Gerald Santos, among others) and Kapatid series Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak led by Mr. Phillip Salador, Arci Muñoz and Ritz Azul will be paraded at the heart of the city starting from SM Cebu at 10am until 12nn. Fans can also meet the stars up-close during the meet-and-greet at the Atrium, SM Cebu at 4:30 to 7 p.m.

TV5 Kids' block will also bring Batibot muppets and hosts Kuya Fidel and Ate Maya to treat families to fun-filled activities and an hour of kiddie performances today, 1-3pm at the Atrium, SM Cebu.

Various TV5 shows will entertain Cebuano Kapatids with exciting activities and other surprises from Monday to Wednesday (May 23 to 25), starting off with the cast of top-rating series Babaeng Hampaslupa, including Alex Gonzaga, Alwyn Uytingco and Martin Escudero on Monday, May 23.

On Tuesday, May 24, hear the latest juicy intrigues about your favourite celebrities straight from showbiz authorities brought to you by showbiz talk shows Paparazzi and Juicy Express. Meanwhile, get ready to laugh out loud as Lokomoko's Rainier Castillo, Empoy Marquez and Joseph Bitangcol; Iskul Bukol's Keempee de Leon, Fred Lo and other co-stars; plus Wow Mali's pranksters treat Cebuanos with laughs and gags on Wednesday, May 25. All these activities are happening at SM Cebu Entertainment Center from 4 to 7 p.m.

'Sugod mga Kapatid sa Cebu' caravan continues on Friday, May 27, as various favourite Kapatid stars Kean Cipriano, April "Congrats" Gustillo, Wilma Doesnt with Bagets cast AJ Muhlach, Josh Padilla, Johan Lourens, Meg Imperial, Rico dela Paz, Aki Torio and Star Factor's Brightest Star and proud Cebuana Eula Caballero lead the motorcade at 10 a.m.

The country's favorite talent search, Talentadong Pinoy, will also hold auditions from 1 to 4pm and performances from talent scouts Regine Tolentino and Pretty Trizsa with TP Hall of Famers The Zion Show, Cebu's Pride Fire Attraction and this year's Ultimate Talentado Joseph the Artist at the SM Cebu parking lot from 4 to 7 p.m.

TV5's news and information - NEWS5 - through its public service unit, will conduct a major public service event to reach out to Cebuano Kapatid in need at Plaza Sugbu, Cebu City from 1 to 6pm on Saturday, May 28, led by NEWS5 head Luchi Cruz-Valdes with anchors Paolo Bediones, Amelyn Veloso, Raffy Tulfo, Cheri Mercado, Martin Andanar and Cheryl Cosim. Alagang Kapatid holds a medical mission; Tutok Tulfo conducts free legal clinic; USI: Under Special Investigation gives disaster preparedness and survival training; Wanted offers public assistance desk; and morning show Sapul sa Singko conducts relationship and love counseling.

TV5's Cebu invasion wraps up on Saturday, May 28, with the Kapatid Network bringing the people's show, Wil Time Bigtimw, to Cebu. Willie Revillame and Shalani Soledad promise to put up a great show with Wil Time Bigtime's state-of-the-art high-definition set highlighting its family-oriented games from 5 to 8:30pm at the South Road Project (SRP), South Reclamation Area in Cebu City.
