Typhoon Bebeng Update: PAGASA Weather Forecast as of May 8, 11am


The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), at 11 a.m. today, issued a tropical cyclone warning on tropical storm “Bebeng” (Aere).

According to the agency, "Bebeng" has already made landfall over Northern Catanduanes and is now heading towards Quezon-Aurora area.

“Bebeng” is moving with a maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.

PAGASA's three day forecast shows that ”Bebeng” will be 70 km North of Baler, Aurora or at 110 km North Northeast of Cabanatuan City by Monday morning. By Tuesday morning, tropical cyclone “Bebeng” will be 170 km Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan. On Wednesday morning, “Bebeng” is expected to move farther away at 440 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes.
