UK Travel Documentary Series "It's a Woman's World" Features "Cebu Dancing Inmates"

UK's travel documentary series titled "It's a Woman's World" will feature the world-renowned "Cebu dancing inmates" in an episode slated to be shown in 120 countries starting October.

Over 1,500 inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) danced infront of the show's crew last week to the tune of "Hot, Hot, Hot," "They Don't Care About Us," and "Just the Way You Are."

Camilla Andersen, the documentary's director and presenter told Sun.Star Cebu, "I have been to 60 countries and this has been the most incredible thing I've seen. I think this is a really good idea. I think there are some people who think it's strange because the prisoners dance but I think anything that you can do to improve the morale of someone in prison means less chances for them to offend the law again."

"Finding a place that is really dark like a prison but with so much hope inside is a really great story." she added.

The show will also feature stories of Philippines much loved star of the screen and now two-term Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, Suprema Isabel Suarez, Faith healing with faith healer Corazon, Santa Cruzan Parade in Rizal Park with Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-up Ma. Venus Raj, Lisa Macuja-Elizalde of Ballet Manila, four-time world bowling champion Bong Coo and bloggers Dine and Noemi.

"It's a Woman's World" which features stories of women in different countries is being air on UK's Travel Channel and has an audience of over 60 million worldwide.
