The estranged daughter of Hollywood star Billy Bob Thornton has been found guilty of the aggravated manslaughter of her one-year-old godchild.Amanda Brumfield, 32, was babysitting the daughter of her best friend when tiny Olivia Garcia died with a fractured skull.
She had claimed that the child had hit her head as she fell out of her playpen, but said she had not seemed badly hurt.
Brumfield was cleared of murder but convicted of aggravated manslaughter in Orlando, Florida. She will be sentenced next month.
Billy Bob said that he was not in contact with his daughter, but stated: "My heart goes out to the family."
