The jury reportedly took less than an hour to convict Nathan Lee Parada of first-degree attempted residential burglary.
Paris testified against Parada telling the court she and boyfriend Cy Waits had been woken by the man banging on the window with the butt of a knife.
The defense claimed Parada had left a halfway house only days before the burglary attempt in August and had not been taking his antidepressant medication at the time.
He is due to be sentenced on June 29 and could face up to three years in prison.
It's been a week of drama for Paris, who saw stalker James Rainford jailed for 227 days yesterday after he attacked Cy Waits outside the court.
