She may have experienced pre-show nerves earlier in the evening but leaving the Theatre Royal last night Amanda Holden was looking ecstatic.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge couldn’t stop grinning as she emerged to greet fans following the first preview performance of Shrek the Musical - which sees Amanda undergo a dramatic transformation.
In these sneak peek pictures we see Amanda, 40, getting her ogre on as Shrek's love interest Princess Fiona.
The Britain's Got Talent judge wowed the audience with her singing skills and her make over from pretty princess to ugly ogre proved an impressive achievement.
Following the performance, having successfully washed all the green paint off, Amanda looked stunning as she emerged following the first preview show in an on-trend frilled, floral playsuit by Monsoon and happily obliged awaiting fans by signing autographs and chatting about the show.
And with her scarlet tinted lips grinning from ear to ear – her elation at the evening was clear to see.

The actress tweeted her delight and posted: ‘Had an amazing night! Audience was outta this world!!! Hooray!!! Xx’
And today Amanda was clearly still buzzing and posted that she had 'an overwhelmingly fabulous night.'
But while she was clearly on cloud nine following her performance as Shrek’s love interest Princess Fiona made famous by Cameron Diaz in the animated films, earlier in the evening she was experiencing a few pre-shoe butterflies.

Amanda posted to her Twitter page: ‘Oooooo so excited and nervous all mixed up!! Not long now! Can't actually believe I made it!’
On Thursday, in response to a fan's good luck message, she wrote: 'Thank you darling!!!! Pooing my pants!'
To which Piers Morgan, Amanda's former fellow Britain's Got Talent juge, wittily replied: 'Breaking News! Ms Holden is wearing Brown Pants in anticipation for first preview tmra night of www.shrekthemusical.co.uk!'

The musical which is an adaptation of the hit film franchise stars Four Lions actor Nigel Lindsay as Shrek, former MTV presenter-turned-actor Richard Blackwood as Donkey and former EastEnders star Nigel Harman as Lord Farquaad.
But despite her nerves, Amanda said preparing for the musical ‘has put a smile on my face’ after she lost her baby son seven months into her pregnancy earlier this year.
She also revealed just how excited her five-year-old daughter Lexi was to see the production, which opens officially on June 14, especially as Princess Fiona is her favourite film character.
She said: ‘Lexi’s been watching me tap-dance in the kitchen. She’s dying to see the full show.’
