Pretty dresses: Sarah Jessica Parker takes her twins Marion (left) and Tabitha (right) out for a day in New York yesterday
She became well known for her fashion prowess as columnist Carrie Bradshaw in hit TV series Sex And The City.
But Sarah Jessica Parker's two little twin girls outclassed their fashionista mother today as they went for a family outing in New York City.
Marion and Tabitha, who turn two years old later this month, looked adorable in their floral and striped dresses.
Both girls wore ribbons in their hair and white sandals, with Tabitha, who has slightly darker hair, wearing a red floral number as they clutched on to their mother's hands.
In comparison, the 46-year-old actress looked rather drab in cropped grey tracksuit bottoms, and a baggy grey Hawaii sweatshirt.
But there was no sign today of Sarah Jessica's husband of 14 years, Matthew Broderick or their eight-year-old son James.

Adorable: The twins looked cute in their striped and floral dresses and white strappy sandals
Sarah recently came back from Cannes where she premiered her upcoming comedy I Don't Know How She Does It, based on a novel by the same name from Allison Pearson, a former Daily Mail columnist.
She has also wrapped filming ensemble comedy drama New Year's Eve in which she stars alongside ensemble cast Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Katherine Heigl and Halle Berry.
Her on-screen daughter for the Valentine's Day sequel is being played by Little Miss Sunshine actress Abigail Breslin, 15.
The Gary Marshall-directed film is based around the lives of several couples and singles in New York who intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve.
