A spokesperson for the radio RJ told the Mail: "Sadly their relationship came to a mutual end last month. There is no-one else involved."
The pair have endured a number of break-ups and make-ups. Cotton began dating Jenkins back in 2008 but it was not until September last year that Jesse finally proposed.
But we're beginning to think Fearne may be something of a commitment-phobe.
Following news of her engagement, Fearne revealed: "I can't believe I'm ever going to be able to organise a wedding. I'm going to make Holly [Willoughby] do it.
"She's the super-planner and I'm the most disorganised girl in the world. If it ever happens, it'll be because Holly makes it happen."
Clearly that was a big IF.
