Will and Kate Penguin Named Acorn

Prince William and wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, are now a proud adoptive parents to a baby penguin named Acorn.

Chester Zoo, a British Zoo in North-west England gave Acorn to the happy couple as a wedding present after their followers on social networking sites chose the penguin over other 399 species the royal pair should sponsor.

Acron is a Humbolt, an endangers South American penguin believed to be declining in number due to overfishing of their food and habitat loss. They naturally live on the coastal areas of Peru and Chile.
