Scotty and Lauren Sing "Up On The Roof," Casey and Haley Perform "I Feel The Earth Move" - American Idol Season 10, Top 6, Carole King-Themed Performances

The Top 6 remaining Idol hopefuls brought nostalgia on stage by singing the hits of Carole King in tonights episode of American Idol Season 10.

These two contestants have a "distinct" chemistry that makes their duets quite phenomenal - in the past
I just love the fact that Lauren seems at-ease whenever she performs with Scotty, how i wish she could pull off that kind of confidence in her solo performances.
With regard to their duet, i don't think they got it right this time - it fell flat on the floor.

Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart brought flavor in tonights show with this performance. Seriously, i enjoyed every moment of it. Their husky and cranky voice when combined is pleasing to the ears.
One little comment that i have for this number is there ain't much connection between the two of them - i'm sure they'll work this "issue" out. Ha?

These pricks, James Durbin and Jacob Lusk, sang this one just because they need to. LOL!
What do you expect, there will be no chemistry because first of all Durbin isn't gay.
So the "Broke Back Mountain" connection sh*t that the AI producers are trying to pull off in this performance will not work, OKAY?

Casey and Haley Rule The Night, Stefano Is In Danger - American Idol, Top 7 Performances

Photo: Michael Becker/FOX

In today's episode of American Idol Season 10, The Top 7 Idol-hopefuls rocked the songs of the 21st century.
Some sounded pleasantly "current," while a few got left behind years ago - performance wise.
So what? Idol castoffs, Ashthon Jones, Karen Rodriguez, Thea Megia, Naima Adepapo, and last week's eliminated-Twilight-star-h*oker Paul McDonald surprised everyone when they "resurrected" on the show.
Well, so what?

Scotty McCreery was the "opening act" and for the first time, i got bored watching. Like LeAnn Rhime's thinning-almost bulimic body, Scotty's style has gotten, hmm, a little uninteresting. Definitely, this 17-year old cowboy needs improvement. (See Scotty's "Swingin'" Performance)

Scary! The drummer boy James Durbin, complete with spooky dramatic entrance and a "marching band," reeked in screaming Muse's havoc throughout his performance. With that "window-breaking" high notes, he should have been included in Scream 4. (See James' "Uprising" Performance)

And then comes Haley, clad in a striking red dress. She did a cover of Adelle's "Rolling In The Deep." This Haley girl has her own style, that sexy growling - it'll bring her millions.(See Haley's "Rolling In The Deep" Performance)

Bring on the drama, here comes the male Oprah. Jacob Lusk's emotions flew to high heavens, well, god must have forgotten to send his vocal "control" back to earth. If he wants to act, just ask for JHud's advice. As for his singing, same old brand new Jacob. *sigh (See Jacob's "Dance With My Father" Performance)

Casey knows how to make a scene, the kind that people will remember you with (and will make them vote for you too.) With what he sang today, he's worth every dollar that America will spend on their "cool vice," that is, VOTING FOR THEIR IDOL BETS. This judges' saved contestant elevated his performance this week with a surprise "kiss." Jeez, i hope it ain't Judas kiss.(See Casey's "Harder To Breathe" Performance)

Stefano Langone, the Italiano boy-toy, laid all his cards on stage. He did some "pimp dancing" so the votes will come "Closer." He's more like of a pornstar to me now, yeah with that sexy outfit, but you see he may be in danger tomorrow. What if Langone's time has come? Can Mama Mia, JLo handle it? (See Stefano's "Closer" Performance)

Who closed the show? Lauren Alaina. Have you noticed how intricate her hairstyle is every week? I just hope that her confidence is at par with her hair-do, for me she's still holding back. Thank god, she has a lot of girl fans that will, maybe, bring her into the Top 4 spot? We'll see. (See Alaina's "Born To Fly" Performance)

Song: Maroon 5, "Harder To Breathe"
Steven said: "You already are a cult hero"
Jennifer said:" I loved it -- the performance!(What about the kiss? huh)
Randy said: "Dude i gotta tell you something, I enjoyed it."

The Mind Slut says: "Where was Casey when god threw the "amazing gift" for singers here on earth?, Well, he's inside a NASA space-shuttle somewhere in space (receiving the first wave from the heavens)."

Casey Abrams Steals a Kiss From Jennifer Lopez - American Idol, Top 7 Recap

Casey Abrams has just sealed his Maroon 5's "Harder  To Breath" performance with a loud smack on "The Most Beautiful Woman in The World 's* cheek.

The 41-year old Lopez  has been surprised by Abrams smooch and has shouted Casey's name twice after his well-applauded song number.

"I had to do it, I had to do it,"  said the Idol Contestant who has received this season's judges' save.
"See now, Casey is not playing fair, okay," the smiling "On The Floor" singer has said in her comment.
Jennifer then adds, "Casey's got soft lips."

American Idol, Top 8 Performances: Stefano Langone Proves His Worth; Scotty, Lauren and Casey Hit It Big

It's the movies night on American Idol Season 10. Some performances bill top-notch, while others just settle as supporting casts.

Today, the almost eliminated Stefano Langone returns to the Idol stage with a bang. He sings BoyzIIMen hit "End of The Road." Well, clearly, it's not the end for him. He has the key to JLo's house, his emotional performance says it all!

Once labeled "the one man phony," Scotty McCreery does his country trick once more. The 17-year old, North Carolina native sits comfortably on his stool as he sings George Strait's "Cross My Heart." It's not the song that you'd want him to sing, but whatever he does, it hits. His simplicity always captures the audience - everyone gets mesmerized.... and they want more.

Surprise! Lauren Alaina is starting to have that "it." She sings Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," with ease. She even does it better than Hanna Montana herself. Undoubtedly, her star is starting to shine on the show. Let's hope she brings something more next week. Heck! I can see her in the Top 4.

The always weird Casey Abrams does his jazz sh*t while his hands caress a big white cielo. The judges-saved contestant once again "wows" the panel, i wonder if he "wows" the audience. There's this something deep going on inside Casey, his artistry just pours out whenever he does something (imagine he choses to ignore Jimmy Ivine's song suggestion.) Find out tomorrow if America will appreciate what he does on the show today.

What about the others?

Paul McDonald's did his best, but i think he'll be in the bottom 3. Other than his fancy suit, what he sang was too kareoke for me.
Jacob Lusk sang dramatically awesome, i am not sure if he's got enough fans to put him through the eliminations tomorrow. God help him.
Haley Reinhart rocked the house. But what she has done, its quiet forgettable, i am crossing my fingers, i don't know if she's gonna be safe anymore.
James Durbin, with all that shrieking and shouting, i guarantee, he'll be spared from tomorrow's elimination.

AI Recap: Stefano Langone Touches Jennifer Lopez, Scotty McCreery Stays in The Zone

The American Idol Season 10 finalists sang Elton John classics this week. Some contestants made their stars spark while others just stayed the same, in short, they did not do anything new.

So here are some of my favorites for this week's American Idol Episode...

Scotty McCreery proved, once more, that he's the real country-hottie-puss-slayer. Armed with his guitar and a pair of sexy boots, he came out really dashing and ended his performance with an amazing "low note."
Scotty McCreery
Jennifer Lopez liked his amazing instincts about performing and about what's right for him. Randy Jackson commented he has seasoned so fast in the show. Well, the thing that i like about Scotty is he does not need to do any gimmicks to be noticed. He just sings, and he nails it every time.

What's different today? Stefano Langone, who obviously took note about the judges' comments with regard to "connection," opened his eyes throughout his presentation. Good Job!

The Italian contestant, who tripped into the bottom three last week, did his take on Elton's "Tiny Dancer." As the song neared its end, he walked into the judges table and reached his arms, Randy jokingly aimed his hand at Langone, but JLo was fast enough to get the Italian hunk's touch. Flirting galore? LOL
Stefano Langone
She growled, she rocked, Mr. Tyler said she sings sexy, yes, she  just did!
Haley Reinhart finally nailed it tonight. You see she has this angst inside her, been rooting for her since day one. I am not sure if she'd make it trough the rough cut tomorrow, but at least - she showed the world her awesome vocal talent.
Haley Reinhart
Casey Abrams did an emotional and toned down performance of "Your Song." It could be Elton John's song, but the way he delivered it, very, very,  Casey.
Did Casey deserve the American Idol Judges' save last week? Effin' yeah! The way he sang tonight, My god, he blew me away - I think you would agree on me this time.

Casey Abrams

So what about Pia Toscano and Jacob Lusk? Weren't they good? Yes, in fact they do perform great stuff every time, but you see, things are getting a little boring for the two of them.

James Durbin, the eclectic singer who sang "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting", gave out  an over the top "almost-irritating" performance.  (with all that fire and punk-feel that was incorporated on stage, pffft!)
Thia Megia delivered the goods. It was an awesome emotional number, the one that you can feel. However, i wasn't stunned. But she sang my name, "Daniel," LOL, so i love her.
Lauren Alaina was in the same boat like Thia. She sings good, but there's something that is lacking. I don't know. do you?
I agree with Randy when she said that Naima Adidapo was a little corny tonight.
Please, for the love of god, dear  Paul McDonald, throw away those flowery suit.

Did Casey deserve the American Idol Judges' save?

He got saved, he fell on his knees, and his face accidentaly landed on Ryan Seacrest's balls.
Photo: FOX

Damn all your predictions, you got it wrong this time.
Obviously, tonight's show was full of weird surprises. Thia Megia, Stefano Langone and Casey Abrams were in the bottom three.Take note, not only Casey was in the bottom three this week, he also got the lowest number of votes that almost made him go home.

SALVATION.
Singing for his life, Casey was interrupted in the middle of his performance.

The AI judges unanimously agreed to give the coveted save to the funky, sexy, and bearded contestant of this season.
Randy Jackson said, "we know who you are Casey," he continued, "we don't need to hear you sing anymore, we will save you.
According to Abrams, what the judges did about his "I Don't Need No Doctor"  swan performance being cut "scared the stuff out of him." He added, "I thought they wouldn't use the save."

DID HE DESERVE IT?
If there's a real entertainer from this year's season that never fails to entertain, that would be Casey. He has given out one solid rocking artistry  that gets polished every time he sings on stage.

We all have seen Casey Abrams' horrific spirit when he unleashed his wild side and sang the almost untouchable Nirvana Track last week.

And like what Randy had said from his "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" performance yesterday, Casey is at his best when he's doing himself.

Did he deserve the save?

Casey Abrams' Horrific Spirit

He has been hospitalized, he may have been transfused with 2 bags of blood mixed with dope, and now he has brought fearlessness on screen.

So, does it "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?.
The fresh-from-the-hospital Casey Abrams has done the modern cover of the 1991 "almost-untouchable" Nirvana track in today's Final 12 Episode of  American Idol Season 10. Bringing an electric bass guitar and
his fierce-eyes-projection up front, he has screamed and jammed his dark punk side in-front of the world to see..

With the help of Karen's stage-lighting effects, the audience have witnessed horror and surprisingly - an out of the box number. The judges, after all the nodding/head-banging while watching him sing, gave wtf  feedbacks as well.

Steven Tyler has commented, "great stuff is made from being talented and so crazy".
Jennifer Lopez said something about BIG shoes and the pleasant thing that goes into it. Whatever!
Randy summed it up, saying..."you’re taking risk. I like that you’re fearless. That’s what we need!"

Oh, really?
