Pinoy sa Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics


John Robert "J. R." Celski (born July 17, 1990) is an Filipino-American short track speed skater. He won the bronze medal in the men's 1500 meters race at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Celski has also won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals at the World ChampionshipsHe won the overall title at the U.S. Junior Championships twice (2007, 2008) and was the overall silver medalist at the 2008 U.S. National Championships.

J. R. Celski was born in Monterey, California where his father was serving in the U.S. Army. He was raised in Federal Way, Washington. His father, Robert, is of Polish descent and his mother, Sue, is of Filipino descent. Celski has two older brothers, Chris and David. [wiki]




Amanda Evora (born November 17, 1984) is an American pair skater. She competes with Mark Ladwig. They are the 2010 U.S. silver medalists and the 2007 & 2009 U.S. pewter medalists. At the 2010 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, they were chosen to represent the United States at the 2010 Winter Olympics, where they finished 10th.

Evora was born in New York, New York. Her family moved to Houston in 1995. Before that, they had lived in Bahrain, Dallas, and Virginia. She is Filipino-American. Evora's longtime boyfriend is pairs skater Jeremy Barrett. [wiki]





Paulding Kulane is the only Pinoy athlete representing Liliw, Laguna. Champion sa extreme labada, kulada at expert din po sa palo-palo. Dahil walang kalaban, nanalo siya ng gold medal sa extreme plantsahan.
