Four-in-ten Brits have seen a ghost or UFO

Forty percent of Brits claim they've had a paranormal experience and seen a ghost or UFO, it has been found.
A survey of 3,000 people discovered one-in-five of of those reckon they have seen a ghost, while 19 per cent have spotted a mysterious object in the sky.
Another 16 per cent believe they've had premonitions while six percent even believe they have a guardian angel.
44 percent of Brits were also found to believe aliens visit Earth and one-in-five even believe aliens could be living amongst us.

Flintshire author's spotlight on 'Welsh Roswell'

RECENTLY released MOD files might attribute it to a meteor shower and an earthquake, but the debate about the so-called “Welsh Roswell” rages on.
A new book by Flintshire UFO-logist Andy Roberts explores the famous incident of January 23, 1974 in which some claim a UFO came down in the Berwyn Mountains.
Mr Roberts looks in detail at the event, including claims of secrets and cover-ups, before going on to “examine the facts to see what truth, if any, lies at the heart of the legend”.
The author has been interested in the unexplained since he was a child and has written extensively on strange phenomena.

Reports of UFOs over BC skies hover into The Sun

Reports of unidentified flying objects over B.C. skies this summer are out of this world.
The accounts have been pouring in to The Vancouver Sun after we published a story about an apparent UFO hovering over Cultus Lake in Chilliwack on Tuesday night.
The story broke on The Fox's Jeff O'Neil Show on Wednesday morning during their Open Phones segment.
'Dallas' called into the show to report that his girlfriend spotted some eerie lights flooding the pitch-black sky [insert Twilight Zone music here].
"At around 2 a.m., she saw some crazy-ass lights hovering over the lake," Captain Scotty of the Jeff O'Neil Show recalled to The Sun.

In Russia a UFO was found while searching for Bigfoot, video

A story is making headlines in Russia regarding students that went looking for Bigfoot but found an alien UFO instead (see video below).
On July 13 a group of Archaeological students went on an expedition to find evidence of the legendary Yeti or Bigfoot that is believed to reside on Shoria Mountain in the Kuzbass region of Kemerovo Province in Russia.

The bird's-eye photos include an "unidentified flying object" that appears to hover over a field, crop circles, concentric shapes etched into the earth, strange patterns, and advertising that can only be seen from the air.

As if breaking through some dimensional barrier the lights appeared to whirl and flash as the car spun round and round.
The view from down the road gave the appearance of a very bad wreck and the police officers, coming upon it, anticipated severe injuries.
They pulled up near the wrecked vehicle in their patrol car and noticed how the spinning, out of control car had actually crashed into the rock wall of the roadside cut.
However, once out of their patrol car the officers were in for a bigger surprise.
There was no one in the wrecked car nor had anyone been slung out of the spinning vehicle! Another strange thing was the engine and engine compartment were completely cold.
Two officers had just seen what they assumed to be an accident happening before their very eyes and when they arrived at the scene only seconds later they were shocked to find no one in the car and an engine as cold as if it had never been cranked! Very frightened, the officers left the scene.

UFO' appears over Newmarket

A JOURNAL reader has told of the night he thought he saw a UFO over Newmarket.
Mark Watson of Beaverbrook Road spotted the unidentified object when he was standing talking to his neighbour at about 10.45pm around August 14.
He thought he saw the light in the sky fly across Newmarket, hover over Bury Road, before dashing off toward the M11.
"It came in at the sort of speed you would expect a plane to be landing at and then slowed down, turned and shot off," Mr Watson told the Journal.
